The day center in Burghausen belongs to the Diakonisches Werk Traunstein. With the day center in Burghausen, the Diakonie offers a wide range of services and operates various facilities.

The cafés that belong to the day center are meeting points and contact points. Everyone can get involved here. A joint lunch is also on the program, as is the opportunity to complete binding or semi-binding work projects.
In addition, the Diakonie runs a small shop called “Schusserl” in den Grüben, which sells toys, among other things. Customers can also find second-hand media such as DVDs and records in the shop. The proceeds from the sales benefit the cared for and the Diakonie.
Social pedagogues, occupational therapists, curative education nurses, a housekeeper, a hotel manager, cooks, administrative employees and changing interns accompany the visitors of the day center.
Visiting the Burghausen Day Center is not linked to the admission procedure or selection criteria for people seeking help.
