General Information

The city of Burghausen attaches great importance to working with young people.

For this reason, the youth office and JUZ2.0 offer young people in Burghausen numerous opportunities: They offer

• Information and advice for various life situations of young people,
• Cooperation with associations, clubs, organizations and initiatives,
• cooperation with schools,
• international youth work,
• Prevention of violence, addiction, HIV/AIDS, undemocratic or anti-democratic attitudes,
• Offers of leisure and educational measures,
• Promotion of participatory measures for children and young people in Burghausen,
• youth culture promotion,
• Public relations work on various topics.

With the recreation home The city of Burghausen offers children from the age of six a wide range of educational opportunities. The focus is on creativity and fun: whether mobile activities or circus activities, crafts or games – the range of offerings appeals to a wide range of interests.

With its extensive range of services, the Burghauser child and youth work pursues several goals: It wants to create a basis so that the children and young people can realize themselves and actively shape their own living environment. If children, young people, friends or parents seek support from the employees of the youth office/JUZ 2.0, the cooperation is always personal and confidential.

The young visitors of the various facilities do not enter into any obligations if they visit the JUZ 2.0 or the leisure center, for example.
