General Information

The Burghausen City Museum shows the art, culture and everyday history of Burghausen and the region in the rooms of the medieval castle complex. The museum was founded in 1899. In 2011, the City Museum was renovated and redesigned. Since the reopening in 2016/2019, numerous interactive stations have conveyed the world of the late Middle Ages and Burghausen's town and art history.
