Hans Stehaimer Elementary School

The Hans-Stethaimer elementary school is one of the three elementary schools in the urban area of Burghausen. The Raitenhaslach branch also belongs to the Hans Stehaimer elementary school. In Raitenhaslach, the first and second grades as well as the third and fourth grades are taught together.

The school is named after the Burghausen master builder and sculptor Hans Stethaimer, who lived in the 15th century.

The elementary school cooperates with the support center Pestalozzi School Neuötting. The pupils of the Hans-Stethaimer elementary school and the support center share the school building and the schoolyard in the old town of Burghausen.

The Hans-Stethaimer elementary school offers lunchtime supervision.

The Hans-Stethaimer elementary school wants to give its students support so that they are ready for the future. Together with the pupils of the special school, the teachers of the Hans-Stethaimer elementary school work on joint projects in the school building in the old town. In Raitenhaslach, togetherness is strengthened by the combination classes.

Extended range of courses

wind classes
Pupils at the Hans-Stethaimer School in Raitenhaslach have the opportunity to attend the wind instruments class in the second and third grades. Instead of music lessons, the children learn a wind instrument in cooperation with the music school in Burghausen.

string classes
From the second grade onwards, pupils at the Hans-Stethaimer elementary school in the old town can attend a string class. There, in cooperation with the music school in Burghausen, they learn to play a string instrument and play in an orchestra.
