In the historic old town of Burghausen you will find a large number of retail shops, restaurants, cafés and service providers. Between Mautnerstraße and Zaglau, visitors to Burghausen's old town will find a surprisingly wide range of shops and restaurants.
The interest group IG Altstadt is pursuing the goal of making known and emphasizing this special ambience of Burghausen's old town. The loose association is affiliated with the Burghausen advertising ring. Again and again, the IG Altstadt organizes events on the town square or in the Grüben, such as Jazz Sunday.
