General Information

The Burghauser regulatory office is responsible for the areas of security and order in the city.

Among other things, the employees approve events, grant permission to operate a restaurant temporarily or permanently and allow the operation of a market. In addition, the employees of the public order office issue parking permits for residents' parking regulations on certain streets in Burghausen and approve parking facilitation.

The public order office also takes care of safety and order in parks and green spaces, monitors traffic and is responsible for local public transport in Burghausen. This includes student transportation. The public order office issues tickets for the school bus service to elementary and secondary schools on request.

Noise protection is one of the tasks of the public order office, as is mobility. The employees are also responsible for special uses on public land such as outdoor seating in restaurants, posters in the city area and product displays in front of shops.
