The atmosphere of the Burghauser Jazzkeller in the medieval vaults of the Mautner Castle is certainly hard to find a second time in Germany. In the Jazzkeller, jazz fans can enjoy a varied, appealing program during the "Jazz in Autumn" series of events - from blues to gospel to jazz punk, from Cuba to Zambia to Berlin. Probably nowhere else are jazz fans so close to the solo artists and bands as in the Burghauser Jazzkeller.
Eight to twelve concerts traditionally take place during Burghausen's "Jazz in Autumn" between October and the beginning of December. The organizer, IG Jazz, always puts together a varied program that shines with a mixture of internationally known musicians and regional bands from Germany and Austria.
